A ‘mind map’ is a picture of ideas, ideas, or tasks. It starts with a main subject or idea which branches out to ideas, words, or things that are related to it. Mind maps allow you to produce ideas in a non-linear waynot with one idea following another and then another in a line, but branching out like a tree, or a spiders web where ideas can be connected together , and you can find connections between ideas. You can then arrange them from important, to less important, to not very important. They are useful for brainstorming, solving problems, showing how things work together and effect eachother. They are great for making visual maps, or showing complicated ideas.
